Certified Protocol Doctors

The term “Coimbra Protokoll” is protected as a registered trademark across Europe in all spellings, as is the logo shown on our homepage. This is intended to give patients who are being treated with the Coimbra Protocol confidence when choosing their doctor.

Reports keep surfacing about doctors or alternative practitioners (Heilpraktiker) who unlawfully advertise the application of the Coimbra Protocol or the term “ultra-high-dose vitamin D therapy according to Dr Coimbra” without being trained to do so. As the central point of contact for the Coimbra Protocol in the German-speaking region, we are always informed promptly about newly certified doctors, or are involved in their training in Germany. For alternative practitioners (Heilpraktiker), the training is currently not open.

Anyone who wants to be sure that a doctor really knows all the details of the Coimbra Protocol and has been properly trained and certified in its application is therefore best guided by the list shown here.

Anyone who appears neither on the Google list mentioned above nor on our homepage has, in case of doubt, not been properly trained.
