Training to Become a Certified Coimbra Protocol Doctor

Since 2017 we have been commissioned by Dr Cicero G. Coimbra to pass on, research and further develop his work in Europe. For this reason, another cycle of the training to become a certified Coimbra Protocol doctor will also take place in 2027: at the Coimbra Protocol Academy, under the direction of Dr Beatrix Schweiger in cooperation with the non-profit Coimbraprotokoll gUGmbH, doctors of human medicine can learn the safe application of the holistic therapy for autoimmune diseases.

The part-time training extends over a total period of 10 months and comprises two in-person events plus online coaching sessions.

You complete the training with a certification after a review of the essential learning content, and are then entitled to use the legally protected terms “Coimbraprotokoll” and “certified Coimbra Protocol doctor”. As a certified protocol doctor you will, for a monthly fee, be listed on the central German-language information platform www.coimbraprotokoll.de as well as on the therapist list of the Coimbra Protocol Academy. A further listing appears on the international public Google list, which is maintained by patient activists as volunteers.

Our lecturers are Dr Beatrix Schweiger, the first protocol doctor in Germany, and Christina Kiening, one of the founders of the non-profit Coimbraprotokoll gUGmbH. Both have gathered experience since 2017 in supporting thousands of patients with the Coimbra Protocol and are actively involved in connecting doctors, patients and scientists. In addition, we have been able to recruit further specialists from the fields of orthomolecular medicine, nephrology, neurology and environmental medicine as lecturers, in order to convey in-depth knowledge to you.
